Why Print Your Photos?

We live in a digital age. And the thought of your photos living in a digital gallery or a USB stick forever crushes my soul a little bit. At the end of the day, when the wedding is done and the flowers have dried, you’re left with your photos … don’t let those photos live and die on a USB stick. These are your memories. Part of your legacy. And they deserve to be printed, framed, hung on a wall, in an album on your coffee table.

I am telling you – there is nothing like flipping through an album and seeing your photos on the pages. Holding it in your hands, reliving the moments, turning the pages, the beauty of the colours, I swear it is breathtaking.

These heirloom albums are made to last generations. Something that your children and grandchildren or nieces and nephews can flip through in the decades to come. I know how sacred and treasured photos from my own parents and grandparents’ weddings are, so don’t forget to print your images. Eventually those USB sticks and online galleries will become obsolete and it would be a shame if that’s the only place your images live.

How Does it Work?

To start, you will select 45-50 photos from your online gallery that you would like to include in your album. Your album tells the story of your day, so you’ll want to select photos that set the scene and show the significant moments throughout the day. Think of future generations flipping through your album; some detail and scene-setting photos throughout will allow them to see the full picture of the day.

After you’ve selected your images, I get to work designing the album layout. I piece together the images into a design that flows and is full of emotion.

You’ll have an opportunity to proof the design layout and provide any feedback that you’d like. And then I’ll take it from there!
