2018 has, without a doubt, been my most fulfilling year as an Ottawa wedding photographer yet! Every year keeps getting better and better. This job is a true privilege. I do not take it for granted that couples and families trust me to capture their memories. Memories and heirlooms that will last generations to come.

I spent a couple of hours the other day running through this years’ photos. It was nearly impossible to select “favourites”, and it was definitely impossible to get one from every session and wedding (sorry friends). But I managed to pull aside a few moments from the year that make me smile.

In no particular order, here are a handful:

Well there you have it, folks. A small collection of this years’ best moments. That was something I focused on a lot this year; moments. I made an effort to step back, watch what was happening around me, and capture the big and small magical moments throughout the day. At the end of the day, the candid photos are always always always my favourite. Hands down. They are the ones that speak to me; the photos that I feel. So those are the memories that I want to be able to preserve for my clients.

So grateful for everyone who opens up and welcomes me into their world. It is an honour, and I am looking forward to what 2019 has in store for this little Ottawa wedding photographer.

Cheers, and Happy New Year! xo
