Let’s talk about Gatineau Park winter engagement sessions for a minute! I think we can all agree, Gatineau Park is a beautiful place to visit in the spring, summer, and fall. But have you ever been there in the winter? It is seriously gorgeous! I’m not always a winter enthusiast, but this year I am embracing the snowy season and getting out to enjoy it as much as possible. So when Jordan and Chelsea suggested a Gatineau Park winter engagement session, I was totally on board.
Sugarbush Trail is right next to the Visitor Centre in Chelsea, QC, and a great starting point for our engagement session. We were out bright and early, so we were there and gone before it got too busy.
A light snowfall. Winter boots. A tuque. Cozy wool sweaters. Cute mittens. And the freakin’ best couple! Needless to say, it was awesome. These two are adventurers at heart, so wandering the trails and checking out the scenery is right up their alley and totally natural for them. Which is what engagement photos are all about – being yourselves and capturing some fun loving photos before the big day.
They will be getting married this fall, and their wedding sounds too good to be true. A childhood church, family property, nature, outdoor cocktail hour, and a big rowdy party. So for those who know me, you know this sounds like a dream to me. I am looking so forward to hanging out with these two again, and documenting their wedding day!
Thanks Jordan & Chelsea!
