couple walk through open field together and laugh - carley teresa photography

I had the most fun shooting this engagement session at Hogs Back with James & Sara. They were so easy-going and totally embraced the session.

We started at Mooney’s Bay for a few photos along the beach. It was a gorgeous summer day, so the beach was busy, but we made the most of it before heading over to Hogs Back. Sara changed into a gorgeous red jumpsuit and then we spent the rest of our time wandering around the park, scaling rocks, popping champagne, and laughing. Hogs Back Park was perfect for their engagement session, there was tons of space to wander around, and the light from the setting sun was beautiful. We wandered and we laughed, a lot. Which, if you ask me, is the key to engagement sessions. Roll with it, have fun, laugh when you feel a little awkward, and it always turns out great.

Missing those warm September evenings spent laughing with couples. Looking so forward to capturing James & Sara’s big day later this year!
