Kevin & Nicole planned a beautiful intimate winter wedding in February, and it was so wonderful.
These two truly planned a day that reflected what they wanted. They wanted something low-key, with no fuss. Neither loves to be the centre of attention, so it was small, intimate, and calm. They enjoyed a first look in the chapel together before opening up the doors and welcoming their guests in to the ceremony. I loved this, and it was something I had never seen before. They literally stood at the front of the ceremony space and waved their guests in before diving right into the ceremony.
After the ceremony, guests mingled and enjoyed some food and drinks. Kevin and Nicole snuck outside for a few minutes to get some true winter wedding photos in the cold! It was a bright day but the wind was biting, so we didn’t spend too long out there. They made the most of it and laughed and snuggled to keep warm.
After enjoying cocktail hour, everyone was off to a local brewery for a sit down meal together and to enjoy the rest of the evening. It was truly a perfect wedding for Kevin & Nicole and I’m so glad that they planned a celebration that they were comfortable with. They were able to take in the moment and be fully present because they had planned the intimate winter wedding that they wanted.
Venue: Chapel Room at AllSaints Events Space
