Sara emailed me during the winter to inquire abut a Manotick engagement session and I was instantly excited. Manotick is in my “neck of the woods”, and really – who doesn’t love that quaint little town?! We emailed back and forth throughout the winter. And by the time we met, it felt like we already knew one another, it was so wonderful. I say it all the time, but I get the best clients! I am so so so thankful that they trust me to capture this time of their lives for them.
Sara and Jordon chose Manotick for their engagement session because they love to spend time there. So much so, they’ll be moving there in the fall! Not only that, but they had dinner at the Black Dog the night Jordon proposed. So needless to say, Manotick was our starting point. We agreed to meet at Watson’s Mill, and go from there.
We had to reschedule our session twice before we were able to finally go ahead with it. Spring arrived way later than any of us had anticipated this year. But third times a charm and we had perfect weather and some beautiful golden light to wander around, laugh, and take some beautiful photos.
It was such a pleasure finally meeting these two, and I can’t wait to be there to celebrate with them in December … in Mexico!!
