Alex and Guillaume. Gosh, I don’t think I am going to do justice to how much darn fun their little backyard wedding BBQ was. Pardon me, it was a backyard ‘I Do BBQ’, like how cute is that?
So here’s the scoop. August 14, 2020 was their 4 year anniversary and they had planned their big beautiful wedding for that day. But with COVID, they had to postpone their big formal celebration. But they didn’t want to let the date pass by, they still wanted it as their wedding date. So they pulled together the most fun backyard BBQ with their closest family and friends. Complete with a homemade geometric arch, a motorcycle ride, custom jean jackets, endless amounts of champagne, and a jump in the pool. Epic.
This was my first wedding since March, which is craaazy. And I was beaming the entire time. Not only was it amazing to be working and photographing a wedding again, but the JOY and the happiness that was radiating from Alex and Guillaume was so contagious it was amazing. Easily one of the most fun celebrations I’ve ever photographed. But I’ll stop rambling now and let you see it for yourself.
Okay can we talk about these jean jackets for a minute? Chalked by Mabz did the most amazing job on these custom jackets. The detail was incredible, and Alex really was the “wife of the party”!! Gah these two are just so damn fun I cannot get enough of it. Okay, I’ll stop lol.
Small backyard weddings have always, always been some of my favourite weddings. And this backyard BBQ just gets me right in the feels.
