James & Vee had a wonderfully relaxed and beautiful day at their Temples Sugar Bush wedding last August. The day flowed so smoothly, and it was so stunning.
They started the day at Clyde Hall. The wedding party and families all got ready together in the house. It was quiet and calm and such a lovely way to start the day. Vee’s mom put the finishing touches on the flower girl dress, while James played video games with his wedding party, and the Vee’s dad quietly did some ironing. It was so fun having everyone in the same house together.
After arriving at Temples, James and the guys spent some time in the lounge. Their bag piper arrived and they were able to take in the scene as he warmed up ahead of the ceremony. Kind of fun! And Vee was off to the bridal suite to get into her dress, and wait for the rain clouds to pass before the start of the ceremony.
James and Vee had their wedding ceremony in the forest. Breakfast in Bed did the live music throughout the ceremony and cocktail hour and it was such a gorgeous touch to the day. The ceremony was emotional and beautiful, and full of love and personal hand-written vows.
After the ceremony, James & Vee prioritized spending time with their guests for cocktail hour. Guests mingled throughout the beautiful gardens, they shared hugs and laughs and enjoyed the afternoon. Similar to the start of the day, cocktail hour just flowed so smoothly, nothing was rushed, and James & Vee got to soak up the afternoon.
We took a few minutes for some photos along the beautiful tree-lined pathway at Temples, and then everyone was headed inside for dinner and toasts. Such a feel good day. These two deserved it!
